I have been going here since I was in college because it is such a staple! The pasta is perfectly al-dente and the sauce is always so delicious (I usually go for the arrabitaia). As a cheese lover, it is 100% worth it to add the burrata on top. You wait in line and walk up to a cashier, but the servers are very helpful finding a table for your party along with bringing around delicious bread with balsamic and olive oil. It is such cute, casual place to go with friends or family to grab some delicious pasta!

This place is always crowded at lunch, for good reasons: Casual atmosphere, fair prices, food made fresh to order, filling portions, and free unlimited bread! Their pasta is usually too al dente (too hard) for my liking. On later visits, staff have happily tried to accommodate my requests for softer pasta. The bolognese is good, but not great. Next time, I'll try their homemade gnocchi and porcini mushroom or creamy salmon sauce :) Highly recommend adding on burrata cheese for a creamy ball of joy!

Located in Culver City right off the 10 freeway. There is a parking lot in the "shopping center" but you won't get to it if you route to Pasta Sisters. Theres also enough street parking across the street. This isn't a full service restaurant, you go up to the cashier and they bring your food to you. The servers that worked on 6/22 lunchtime were soooo friendly and made sure our bread was replenished. The portion may look small at first glance but its super filling. Neither me or my friends finished our plate! I had the black truffle pasta sauce and the sauce was like liquid gold! I wish that they offered more options with protein (they do sell a side of chicken for $8), but overall I'd recommend!

Saucy!!!!! This place is very fresh, and the flavor is powerful! The mushroom porcini was very creamy, soft, and full of flavor! I added chicken because "gains" and it went well together, my gf ordered the tomato basil and it was fantastic! I am not a big fan of tomato sauce, but the sauce here is like biting in to a fresh tomato! Very light, fresh, and didn't have that acidic after taste tomato sauce usually has! The service is fast, the flavor is superior, and the ingredients are fresh! 10/10 real pasta!

Came here on a weekend to no wait and great food! I really enjoy that this is dog friendly and they were really attentive to me and my dog. Ordering is super easy. And the menu has great options, so it's difficult to just choose one that you like. We went with the mushroom sauce and another with the bolognese. The complimentary bread was great and hot. I will say, the pasta got cold after a while pretty quickly and left a weird film taste in the mouth. The bolognese was a tad salty as well. The vibes were definitely great and I would come back for a larger group setting!

With fresh pasta, quality ingredients, and bread that just keeps comin', you can never go wrong with Pasta Sisters! This location in Culver City boasts ample seating and parking options in comparison to their other one. Perfect for dining in with larger groups! I went with my usual, the Arrabbiata with Tagliatelle. This vegan friendly sauce features Italian tomatoes, red chili flakes, garlic, and parsley. Super simple and super yums! Good food done SO right.

Bolognese pasta is usually my favorite thing to order at restaurants but here it might be the most underwhelming thing they have to offer. The service was okay. They were quick but when I asked if I could have the oil without the vinaigrette they instead gave me extra vinaigrette. I love the ambiance. Meat Lasagna: Best lasagna I've ever had. The cheese on top is my favorite part. Must try!!! Summer Prosciutto Melon Salad: It was odd. The melon was dry. Would not get this again. Black Truffle Pasta: The boyfriend ordered this. So good. This made me sad I ordered what I ordered. Pasta Bolognese: It's okay. Decent. Nothing to rave about. I wish I ordered the truffle pasta.

Pasta Sisters has been on my list to go to for so long. My friend and I finally had the chance to come on Thursday night. We got a little confused because we ended up walking in through the back patio, but the servers were super friendly and helped direct us to the line outside. They start the line outside and regulate how many people are in the inside line, as a method of crowd control. This was really nice because the restaurant is fairly small inside. They also have a sign with an estimated wait time for the line. You can choose a pasta sauce and pasta type. I got the black truffle sauce with pappardelle. I really like thicker pasta with some chew to it. While the pappardelle was thick and had a bite to it, it was a little less chewy than I would have preferred. The pasta also had an eggy flavor to it. I really liked the truffle flavor, but I would probably choose a different sauce the next time because this sauce was a bit on the oily side, being an oil based sauce. My friend got the eggplant parmesan. It was super cheesy. We had both expected the eggplant to be breaded and fried, but felt like the lack of breading was disappointing. Without the breading and since eggplant typically does not have much flavor, it mainly tasted like cheese and sauce. There is a limited amount of eggplant parmesan made each night and we were told that the eggplant parmesan is a limited seasonal item. We both probably would not get what we got the next time we come, but because of the ambiance of the patios (there are pretty lights up and heaters), the friendly service, and the price and amount of pasta, we will be coming back. They also give unlimited complimentary bread. It was super fluffy and delicious with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I recommend sitting out on the patio!

Worth it! I bookmarked this place eons ago after they were featured in a Buzzfeed video, but never got the opportunity to visit until now! This casual Italian restaurant is part of the historic Helms Bakery District. Plenty of parking in and around the complex, there's a large automated parking garage along Hutchinson Avenue. We found a nearby spot on Helms Avenue and crossed the street. Simply order at the counter, take your number, find an open table, and they'll bring the dishes to you. Limited seating inside, but the outdoor patios are spacious. If it's chilly, they will kindly turn on one of the heaters. On the menu you will find sandwiches, salads, lasagna, cold plates, a few entrees, wine, desserts, and pasta of course! You can also purchase pasta to cook at home, cheese, baguette, and sauces, and other market/deli items. Complimentary focaccia - so fresh! The texture is spongy and soaks up the olive oil / balsamic vinegar well. Sea salt seasoning on the outside enhances the flavor. I would have preferred the crust to be more golden and crisp but it was free, can't complain Bolognese with Gnocchi - these dumpling-like pillows of potato and flour are soft to chew, with just enough firmness to retain their shape. Combined with the slow-cooked ground beef and tomato sauce, this was a savory meal! Three Cheeses with Pappardelle - wide al dente pasta that serves as a great vessel for the gorgonzola, parmesan, and pecorino romano. This sauce was a bit monotonous after the first few bites. Boring is a strong word, but it was the least exciting dish of the three. Not enough arugula as well Salmon & Cream with Tagliatelle - the secret-but-not-so-secret sauce is rich and velvety, with a hint of smokiness from the tender flaked fish. Noodles had the perfect consistency and elasticity Simple yet satisfying. I would love to travel to Italy someday, but trips to Culver City will suffice until then!
